Hereunder you can read how the Maidan protesters report on the Russian invasion and betrayal by the ad interim government report by Olena Semenyaka . In advance I should say, that it doesn’t relate to geopolitical conditions and conclusions, among others as to my impression should be taken into account:

EU and China depend heavily on Russia for gaz, internationale peace keeping like in Syria or curbing down Iran’s presumed atomic weapons ambitions, and trading. China bought 5 % of Ukrainian arable land and pays 2 million a year, but is also creeping into Uzbekhistan, Kazakstan and cannot irritate Moscow even more. It considers Ukraine in fact as a Russian rebellious province, like Taiwan and is extremely worried about separatist movements in Xinjiang annd Xizhang (Tibet). European Union is divided but heavily depending on Russian gaz and trade. USA has a big mouth but will only intervene by accident or if weak Obama cannot control his secret services, eager to enscenate a ‘pig ‘s bay’- like incident to challenge Putin. Once more, dont forget: Russia is mostly needed also in keeping the Syria conflict and Iran’s nuclkear ambitions at bay.

Olena Semenyaka: It is true and confirms once more that opposition neglects anti-oligarchic demands of Maidan, according to which oligarchs like Kolomoysky, Tymoshenko, Klitchko, Yatseniuk, Poroshenko, etc., actually should not be in power.

Factual war of Russia on Ukraine that was not condemned in time by the interim government as “a mere provocation,” a lack of official statements that call for a withdrawal of Russian military units from Crimea and Southern Ukrainian cities, expose Russian “preventive measures” as open military aggression and a threat for territorial unity of Ukraine (which Russia promised to secure along with USA in exchange for renunciation of nuclear weapons) under the disguise of protection of a Russian minority in Crimea against the mythical “Ukrainian fascists-banderivtsi” and show that Russian military invasion serves the political goals that potentially threaten with annexation of Eastern and Southern Ukraine and restoration of Yanukovych’s rule since a lot of buses with Russian numbers and paid thugs-titushki that don’t know the names of Ukrainian streets entered major Ukrainian cities like Kharkiv and Donetsk where Russian separatists disguised as dissatisfied Eastern Ukrainian citizens capture the regional administrative buildings, raise a Russian flag above them and beat political and cultural activists and simple people (more than 100 people suffered only in Kharkiv, a lot of members of the Patriot of Ukraine received gunshot wounds and were captured; it is said that one of the activists has cut his veins in order to avoid captivity), etc. – absence of the adequate political reaction on these events from the interim government that only negotiates with USA and UN and creates favorable conditions for securing Western political interests in Ukraine considerable decreases its rates and the trust of people for the newly elected politicians.

Political value of Right Sector and Self-Defense of Maidan, quite the reverse, grows. They have to focus on protection of Ukraine from Russia, but it does not mean that RS refuses from political future (quite the reverse) or is not going to take measures against the newly elected oligarchs when it is needed. Three attempts to kill the leader of Right Sector Dmytro Yarosh have already happened, and I suppose not only from the Russian side (he’s in search as a terrorist on a territory of Russia since today). Besides, there is a huge information warfare on RS now. Not only open enemies and pro-Putin Russians but also a lot of Western nationalists spread lies about the presumable support of Islamism or Zionism by Dmytro Yarosh (only because he expressed his compassion for the struggle for national liberation against Russian imperialism by the oppressed nations and assured an Israeli ambassador during the meeting that RS is not going to kill the Jews; besides, fake appeals “to the terrorists” that were supposedly made by Yarosh were also refuted). In spite of his appeal to the European nationalists in which he urged them to unite, abandon chauvinism and left-wing rhetoric, as well as underlined that nothing threatened the rights of Polish, Russian, Hungarian and so on minorities, nationalist Hungarian party “Jobbik” and Greek “Golden Dawn” called Ukrainian comrades “extremists” and took Putin’s side. Many European nationalists, including Russians and Poles, supported us as well, though. Reaction of Swedish (above all, Scandinavian organization “Nordisk Ungdom,” also independent Swedish newspaper “Nya Tider,” newly established organization “Svenska Ukrainafrivilliga” (Swedish Ukrainian Volunteers)), Italian (Casa Pound in particular), French, Croatian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and other organizations was also instant. But continuous war on RS in Europe and Russia proves that its political existence not incidentally and symptomatically worries too many social and political agents.

A lot of media and separate supporters of Putin try to portray Russian intervention as legitimate and peaceful measures. The reality is different, though: the Crimean TV-channels and all Ukrainian military posts in Crimea are blocked by the Russian units, Russian military vehicles freely cross the borders of Southern Ukrainian cities; Russian militaries and so-called units of self-defense that guard Ukrainian military bases, when asked, claim that they are Ukrainian citizens and that Ukrainian military bases have accepted Russian rule. As a matter of fact, Ukrainian militaries started resistance, call for informational support, refused to obey self-proclaimed navy chief Berezovsky and promised to fulfill their oath and fight Russian separatism; Ukrainian citizens started storming recruitment offices a few days before has begun official mobilization; now up to 3 million people volunteered to fight. Yesterday there were big queues of newcomers at the headquarters of Right Sector; I talked to two guys from the Southern Ukrainian city Berdansk who pressed the emergency brake while traveling on a train, stopped the first car they’ve seen and came to Right Sector in Kyiv as soon as they found out that Russian militaries and technology are in their city. Huge rallies against Russian intervention were held in Southern Ukrainian cities like Odessa; even Maidan and anti-Maidan united in order to resist Putin. As one person fairly remarked, people realized that they have seen everything in their lives when even Jews started shouting “Allahu Akbar!” (Victoria Sibir пишет : Сегодня, во время марша одесские евреи, проходя мимо арабского культурного центра кричали: АЛЛАХ АКБАР!!!) near an Arabic Cultural Centre in Odessa only to prove solidarity of Ukrainian citizens who do not need Russian protection, although pro-Russian part of population is still active. Yarosh also expressed his ironic gratitude to Putin for uniting our front and nation by the foreign occupation. Against this background, Russian establishment, which claims that they defend a Russian minority and the fleet in Crimea and only hold peaceful military trainings in Ukraine, voted unanimously in favor of war with Ukraine and continues detaining Russians in Moscow who stand against Russian interventionism in Ukraine. Just recently Yanukovych signed a document in which he asked Putin to start military invasion in Ukraine. Looks like Putin tries to avoid destiny of Yanukovych, but can lose even more if he maintains the same hypocritical policy of “fighting extremism” in a sovereign country, just like the presumable initiator of revolution in Ukraine USA. More and more people, including the political leaders and officials, realize lies of media and reject the abstract reasons for cynical economic and military expansionism.
