Odessa Commemoration The Hague: For his part, the participant of the action, the Dutchman Alfred Vierling, noted that he decided to take part in the event in order to “condemn the hypocrisy of Western European politicians and the so-called human rights organizations.” “If you accuse one side, you can’t keep silence when the other side commits crimes,” he noted. “However, they do just that. They, in fact, try to hide a crime against human rights, which is a war crime <… > European politicians are simply keeping silence [regarding the events in Odessa].
